How did you get into motorcycles? My family has a massive history in the motorsports industry. My grandfather, Norm McDonald, is the 'N' in K&N Air Filters, and the Co-Founder of the company who has supported and mentored many amazing racers. My dad, Sam McDonald, was the 250GP national champion in 1982, and now helps me win races at the track ;)

But when I was 15, I begged my dad to let me have the chance to do a track day on a bike, and he rebuilt an old Yamaha TZ 85, and the rest went from there!"

Why do you ride? Because it gives me the greatest feelings that I can only get from the racetrack. The feelings you get when you do well for your team is everything, and I just love racing motorcycles.

Career Highlight: Setting the lap record at Laguna Seca.

Favorite Bike to Ride: Yamaha YZF-R6

How do you prepare to go on the track? By stretching and drinking lots of water. I also love to listen to music if I'm getting anxious before a race.

Goals for 2021: I want to race and win a championship this season. I don't know exactly what I am going to end up doing this season, but whatever I do, I want to win!
